Additional Information

Kevin returns to the Bulldogs baseball program for his sixth season on staff.

Kevin is a 1998 graduate from Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville where he played for former Head coach, Mark Kimbro. Kevin was a 3 sport athlete while at Central, playing football, basketball, and baseball.

Coach Kelly was a 2 time All county player in both football and baseball, as well as being named the Gwinnett County defensive player of the year his Senior football season.

Kevin went on to play both football and baseball at Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi before finishing up his baseball career at Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. After his playing days were over, he finished his college degree at Ashford University with a degree in Social Sciences with Emphasis in Education.

Prior to coming to North Gwinnett, Kevin was on the baseball staff at Dacula High School under then Head coach, John Poitivent. While an assistant at Dacula, Kevin was honored by the Gwinnett Dugout Club as an Assistant Coach of the Year. In 2013, he was once again awarded as an assistant coach of the year award while at North recipient under first year Head Coach, Ryan Moity.

Kevin enjoys watching sports on his free time, as well as playing golf when he gets the chance. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and friends.

Here at North Gwinnett Kevin works with hitters, while his main job is working with middle infielders.

Kevin is married to Lindsay, and they are the proud parents of, Braxton Brown Kelly, who turns 2 in June.
